In effort to help make this mission a reality, Bikestation has held two Women on

 Bikes programs with the goal of assisting participants in understanding how to utilize

 public transportation in conjunction with bicycles as a viable means of traveling to and

 from their points of employment.

Through the generosity of the Josephine S. Gumbiner Foundation, Bikestation has

been able to provide women enrolled in the WINTER program with their own high-quality

Raleigh Bicycles as well as training in basic maintenance and repair and a short course in

traffic safety.
